Bodies have been being discovered in the alboran sea, and this is causing its waters to carry diseases. The nearby village of Imlil is slowly dying, and its residents are afraid that this has all been brought on them because of their sins. Ten of these people are forced to go on a treacherous journey to discover what's behind it all. They find that it was caused by Ammon, the god of the sun and air, who is living inside the earth's core trying to survive. It was all a very big accident. The real villain is Ammon's newly born half-god daughter, Alghur, the goddess of Vanity. She wants to destroy the world because it is weak, and believes that the universe can only survive if everyone is at least as powerful as her.
