Gotham City has been under siege by amysterious and dangerous group known as The Court of Owls. The vigilante known as Batman, with his unparalleled skills and intellect, had been on their trail for weeks until he suddenly disappeared. In his absence, another hero must step up to takesecret society known as the Court of Owls. The elusive organization has managed to stay hidden for centuries, controlling the city from the shadows. Batman, the city's protector, has been investigating the Court for months. But then, he disappears. As the people of Gotham start to lose hope, a familiar figure steps up to take his place. Dick Grayson, once known as Robin, has taken on the mantle of Batman before. But this time, it's different. This time, he feels the weight of Bruce Wayne's absence heavily on his shoulders. Dick is not alone, though. He has the support of Barbara Gordon, the tech-savvy Oracle; Tim Drake, the sharp-witted Red Robin; and Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce who has taken up the mantle of Robin, Jason Todd, the Red Hood and Stephanie Brown, the Batgirl. Together, they set out to find Bruce and unravel the mystery of the Court of Owls. But the deeper they go, the more dangerous it becomes. They face daunting challenges and enemies at every turn, but they refuse to back down.
