At age eight, Bruce and his parents, wealthy physician Dr. Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha , were returning from the Monarch Theater one night, when they were robbed at gunpoint by an assailant who demanded the pearl necklace Martha was wearing. When Dr. Wayne refused to hand him over, he and Martha were shot dead in the streets. With 30 years,Bruce cames back to Gotham to became the Dark Knight to revenge their parents death.
