Synopsis

This TV-MA series revolves around Bruce Wayne and his extended "Bat Family" 20 years after Bruce began battling crime in Gotham City as "The Batman", and things are about to get much darker for The Dark Knight and the rest of the heroes of Gotham City, as well as the entire DC Universe. The series would feature appearances from many other heroes and villains from the DC Universe, and open doors for their very own spin-offs. The ultimate goal would be building up a Justice League mini-series a few years down the line.

Description of Bruce Wayne (The Batman):

8 year old Bruce Wayne's life fell apart on March 2, 1986 when his parents Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne were gunned down in front of him by a small-time criminal named Joe Chill. In 1996 Bruce Wayne left Gotham City to train his body and mind. He returned to the city in 2004 and took to the streets, stalking the night disguised as a bat in order to strike fear into hearts of Gotham's underworld. It didn't take long for the Gotham press to dub this mysterious figure "The Batman".
