Synopsis

When Carrie - the young protagonist of A Mystery-Ran Machine - sets off to make a name for herself in sleuthing, accompanied by the improbably old Great Dane that once belonged to her tormented mentor, the late Mr. Jones, she quickly falls victim to a trap laid by a vengeful old enemy of the Scooby gang. An impish malcontent who seems to particularly hate Carrie’s new canine companion in whom she’s discovered a benevolent supernatural presence.

“His glory was suppose to be mine! But that dog! He convinced those meddling kids that I was no good. He says he looked into my soul. They threw me away because of him. Because of the all knowing, benevolent Scooby-Doo! Left me on the side of the road to SCRAPE out a life. But now… I will take it all back. Victory will finally be mine!”
