The Course of the Owls is considered only an urban legend, from a nursery rhyme, by most of the population of Gotham. However, they are very real and have plans to soon get rid of the city's vigilantes via their Talons, their faithfull assassins bringing back to life through stealing technology from Mister Freeze. However, a former army, Kate Kane, understanding that her family is involved in this case, decides to investigate and exploited her faculties by becoming a vigilante herself.
