The Commuter is a suspenseful action-thriller starring Liam Neeson as Michael MacCauley, a former cop turned insurance salesman who rides the same commuter train every day. One day during his usual ride home, he’s approached by a mysterious woman named Joanna (played by Vera Farmiga), who offers him a seemingly innocent task with a significant cash reward: identify a passenger who "doesn’t belong" before the last stop. As Michael investigates, he realizes he’s been caught in a deadly conspiracy. The stakes escalate as he uncovers a criminal plot and realizes the lives of everyone on the train — including his own family — are at risk. With time running out and danger closing in, Michael must use his skills and instincts to uncover the truth and survive. The film blends Hitchcock-style mystery with high-stakes action and explores themes of morality, survival, and the choices we make under pressure.
