It will serve as a prequel to "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian", and "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader." In 1900, long before the Penvensie children came to Narnia, there was an English boy named Diggory Kirke, whose uncle is an amateur magician. One day, Diggory and his friend, Polly, touch magic rings that bring them to a woodland area, where there are a bunch of ponds/pools, and each one is a portal. The children go into a portal that leads them to a lifeless, desolate kingdom, where Digory accidentally unleashes a terrifying evil that follows them home to England.
