Damian's origin was unknown to Batman. Damian was genetically perfected and grown in an artificial womb to be the perfect warrior. He is raised by his mother Talia al Ghul and the League of Assassins. He starts off getting along well with Dick, who had already been promoted to Batman after Bruce and Selina retired, and after the death of his parents, Damian becomes Robin, wearing a uniform almost identical to Tim's. In the end, Damian is promoted to the new Batman and his son is the new Robin.
