Hughie Campbell is a young man who sees no more meaning in life after his girlfriend is killed by a superhero. Everything changes when he meets Butcher, a mysterious man who invites him to be part of a task force dedicated to fighting supers. Hughie discovers that, behind the masks, superheroes are dishonest people and that they don't really care about justice, thus dedicating himself to the mission of avenging his girlfriend's death. However, this will be a dangerous journey filled with violence.
