Fan Casting John Gillman in The Boys: Brightburn

During the battle between The Boys, The Seven, and Brightburn, it is Homelander and his son, Ryan Butcher, that mainly progress the fight against Brandon Breyer. At first, Homelander holds back from using his full strength on Brandon, believing he can turn the young boy to his side. However, after Ryan is severely injured and almost killed, Homelander unleashes his full power on Brandon, eventually killing him by using his own heat vision against him, but not before suffering extensive injuries from the battle and passing out.
