A live-action Hollywood-budget rendition of the biblical book, Daniel. This book covers multiple decades following the deportation of the Jewish people into Babylonian exile. The first 6 chapters of the book display the sovereign power of Yahweh, the one true God, as he protects and guides a young man (eventually an old man) named Daniel along with his friends in the presence of various threats coming from the foreign kings.
