Synopsis

Ryiah lives in a world of Lowborns and Highborns, Palaces and Slums, those who are lucky and are born with magic and those who aren't. Ryiah and her twin Alex were two of the lucky ones who have the ability to cast. They attend The Academy for a year where after defying the odds, earn a spot in The Apprenticeship. Ryiah faces many challenges along her journey including love, loss, ambition and war.

Priscilla is a wealthy Highborn who bears the official title 'Lady Priscilla of Langli'. She is stunning and always wears the most eye-catching gowns at all of the balls. She likes to be seen. In the beginning she is Ryiah's nemesis but they grow fonder of each other overtime. She hangs out with the other nobility and for a long time was engaged to Prince Darren. The union was arranged but never happened.
