The Black Knight: The Secret Crusade was released on November 12th 2007 and received critical acclaim from critics and audiences. The film was praised for Jackson's direction, Mortensen's portrayal and performance, score, set design, action scenes, Cinematography, religious, the third crusade setting and it's ending.
