Synopsis

The Birds is a 1963 American horror-thriller film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock. Loosely based on the 1952 story of the same name by Daphne du Maurier, it focuses on a series of sudden and unexplained violent bird attacks on the people of Bodega Bay, California, over the course of a few days.

Description of Melanie Daniels:

Heiress of a newspaper empire and a textbook glitterati, socialite at the elite circles of San Francisco society. She is blonde, beautiful, wealthy, charming, well-dressed and well-connected, but she is most notorious for her somewhat indelicate behavior and elaborate pranks. Meets Mitch at a pet shop, that mistakes her for a salesperson, which infuriates her and sparkes her curiosity about him, leading her to secretly follow him.
