Synopsis

In the year 2001, the city of Gotham finds itself immersed in a dark and desolate decay, controlled by corruption and organized crime. The legendary vigilante hero Batman, known as the Dark Knight, still fights against the injustice and evil that plague the metropolis, even three decades after his emergence in the 1980s. Bruce Wayne, the billionaire behind the Batman mask, now older, faces a dilemma. After years of tireless battle, he finds himself losing hope of bringing true justice to Gotham City. However, a new and dangerous threat emerges from the shadows, threatening to plunge the city into unprecedented chaos. The Penguin, renowned criminal known for his cunning strategies and cruel nature, forges an alliance with other iconic villains, such as the Riddler and Poison Ivy, and plans a coup that could reverse the few advances Gotham has made in its attempt to recover. While battling powerful enemies and facing his own inner demons, Batman is aided by a new ally, the young and fearless Barbara Gordon, Commissioner Gordon's daughter. Together, they form a unique partnership, unraveling Gotham's secrets little by little, leading them to a final confrontation that will determine the city's future and the identity of Batman himself.
