Dick Grayson became Robin after being trained by Batman and avenging the death of his parents. Dick was a young acrobat who was part of the circus family "Flying Graysons". Dick's circus has arrived in Gotham City, where gangster Tony Zucco has sabotaged the Graysons' trapeze act, killing Dick's parents. Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the accident, helped take Dick to Wayne Manor Bruce made arrangements with Commissioner Gordon to become Dick's legal guardian Bruce trained Dick to become Robin, aiming to avenge his parents' deaths
