A mysterious new threat emerges in the depths of Gotham City, with some of the city's leading crime figures beaten within an inch of their lives as some of the city's leading scientists disappearing without a trace. It's up to Batman, Robin and Batgirl to get to the bottom of all this. Things get complicated when the Joker and Harley Quinn get involved and soon all the clues lead back to Bane, a massive hulking figure of high-intellect and his master Ra's Al Ghul, who was once Bruce's mentor, and now has a plan that will surely destroy all of Gotham.
