Little is known about the man later known as Ghost-Maker, except that he's a psychopath who feels no empathy or fear. Though initially a friend of a young Bruce Wayne during their travels to become vigilantes, they became rivals as Ghost-Maker sees vigilantism as an art where Bruce sees it as a duty as well as Ghost-Maker killing one of their mentors. Coming to clashes during their travels, Ghost-Maker eventually agreed to stay out of Gotham City. In later years, sometime after the Joker War, Ghost-Maker broke the pact in order to take Bruce's place as Gotham's protector.
