Luke Fox is the son of Lucius Fox, the CEO and president of Wayne Enterprises and a genius scientist and inventor. An intellectual himself, Luke graduated from MIT with two degrees and was offered many jobs, including from Wayne Enetrprises. Luke however took to MMA and cage fighting, aspiring to gain the attentions of Batman much to his father's disapproval. His chance came after David Zavimbe, the previous Batwing, decided to quit the mantle for personal reasons. Batman exclusively chose Luke to succeed David, and Luke eagerly accepted the new burden.
