Renee Montoya is the second Question. She was a rookie officer working under commissioner Gordon but when she was promoted to detective, she was paired with experienced detective Vic Sage. Sage had requested for her to become his partner without her knowing. He saw potential in her and trained her to be an amazing detective. Vic Sage reveals to her that he is The Question, a Gotham urban legend. And he reveals that he wanted her to be his successor. He trains her for a while longer but when he is killed, she does succeed him as The Question. And she is the girlfriend of Kate Kane
