Phillip’s chapter is the first of the film. He falls into the Backrooms while he’s filming a movie with his friends. After he starts to navigate the Backrooms, he starts hearing screams. Unsure whether it’s human or animal, he decides to avoid it. Eventually he discovers a mural of eyes on the wall, with a message stating “Don’t Move!”. That’s when a massive creature emerges from the darkness, chasing Phillip through the Backrooms. However it eventually catches him, which makes the screen go dark. It comes back to Phillip falling from the sky, to his death.
