Marv is seen in the second chapter of the film. He along with his group of scientists, trek into the Backrooms to gather information. However after they discover a room filled with holes in the floor, Marv accidentally falls in, separating him from the others. He decides to investigate his nearby surroundings, surprisingly coming across a small town. After a few moments he hears a scream from the darkness. He runs in after the sound, only to find the creature mimicking a human scream. Marv is surprisingly able to outrun the creature, before the chapter comes to an end, Marv lets out a cough. Have the Backrooms infected him in some way?
