They felt that a TV format for Spider-Man fits better than just a movie franchise format. The series takes place from 1965 to 1969 and focuses on Peter Parker, also known as the web-slinging superhero The Amazing Spider-Man as he struggles to learn that with great power there must also come great responsibility.
