Inspired by Re-Animator, Amazing Spider-Man #3 Spiderman #194 and The Fly
A year later after Spider-Man thwarted the twisted plot of The Green Goblin and putting Osborn behind bars for the murder of Gwen Stacy (Elizabeth Shue), Peter Parker (Michael J Fox) and Gwen's childhood friend, Mary Jane (Molly Ringwald) are still recovering and grieving over the terrible fate of their friend. Parker later then meets his new science teacher, Otto Octavius (Bob Hoskins) who has respect for Peter until an accident inside of his home occurred with a technological experiment gone wrong, linking his brainwaves with the mechanical harness and becoming the calculative and dangerous Doctor Octopus while an unknown thief (Christine Elise) has been sneaking into each home and stealing expensive jewelry. Now it is a race against time for Parker to not only put a stop to the thief that is at large, but also putting a stop to Dock Ock's sinister plans.
