Fan Casting General Zod in The Age of Krypton

Michael Shannon as General Zod: The leader of the heroic resistance who is Jor-El's best friend, and at the time when he was a captain, Zor-El's; he is also Kara's godfather. Shannon reprises his role from the DC Extended Universe, though he portrays a different interpretation of his character. In the series, he is portrayed as more reasonable and heroic, willing to let Krypton die as a means to let its children and survivors escape it when it explodes.
