A down-on-his-luck stage magician. While Steve and Babe are seeking the remaining funding for their expedition, he overhears their plight, and after some humour-laced discussions with them, agrees to fund them, much to the chagrin of his daughter and business manager Marta. During the dig, he keeps the workers spirits up with his jokes and magic tricks. During one of Kharis's raid on the expedition party, he is killed by the Mummy.
