Description of Shredder (Oroku Saki, Saki Oroku):

The leader of the Foot Clan, Oroku Saki was a determined but skilled ninja master. However, his true nature was that of evil, as shown when he fell in love with the woman, Tang Shen, but she had rejected him in favor of Hamato Yoshi, the last member of the Hamato Clan. Seeking vengeance, Saki slew Tang Shen and set Yoshi's home ablaze. Though he did not kill his rival, he would learn he lived when his forces in New York met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and he recognized their style. Now, as Shredder, Saki seeks to end his blood feud with Yoshi, now Splinter.
