After the shooting of Barbara Gordon by Deathstroke, Dick Grayson goes on his own as Nightwing, and assembles a team of teenage superheroes (Beast Boy, Raven, Cyborg, and eventually Starfire) to find and kill the mercenary. While dealing with his own traumas over the event, Grayson and the Titans are led on a mission that pits them against Deathstroke and his League of Assassins.
