A young boy is orphaned in the jungle after his parents die in a shipwreck. Raised by a kind-hearted gorilla named Kala, he grows up believing he's one of them, though he always feels different. As Tarzan matures, his world is turned upside down when a group of human explorers, including the intelligent and curious Jane Porter, arrives in the jungle. Tarzan, fascinated by their ways, begins to form a connection with Jane, slowly discovering the human world and his true heritage. But with the arrival of the dangerous hunter Clayton, Tarzan finds himself torn between the family he's always known and the human world he never understood. As danger threatens both worlds, Tarzan must make a choice: remain with his gorilla family or embrace his identity as a human and protect the people he loves.
