Once a compassionate biochemist devoted to healing the planet, Alec now exists as something beyond human — a sentient mass of plant matter connected to the elemental force known as the Green. His fragmented mind oscillates between man and monster, haunted by echoes of his wife’s death and his own rebirth. Through his fragmented memories, the film unfolds as a horror-mystery. He begins as a creature hunted by man and ends as a reluctant god haunted by what he’s lost. His journey is one of self-recognition — from victim, to monster, to guardian of nature.
