Anton Arcane is the main antagonist of The Swamp Thing. An evil businessman and scientist obsessed with immortality seeking to expand his wealth. He is the uncle and parental figure of Abby Arcane after her mother’s death, and the arch-nemesis of both Alec Holland and the Swamp Thing, after he had both Holland and his wife Linda killed after they refused his offer to work for his own twisted ends.
