Gerald Shugel, a former mad scientist, transfers his brain into a large mutated albino ape, becoming The Ultra Humanite. The Ultra Humanite begins to cause chaos in Metropolis, utilizing his intellect to create deadly weapons. It's up to Superman to prevent him from causing further damage to the city, while also balancing his superhero life with his personal life. In order to put a stop to Ultra Humanite, Superman must seek help from his friends, family, and even his nemesis Lex Luthor.
