Superman: Reign Of The Supermen (2021)

Following the death of Superman during a brutal battle against Doomsday, the world is left grieving and vulnerable. This vacuum is quickly filled by four mysterious new individuals who claim the mantle of the Man of Steel: the high-tech Steel, Superboy (Connor), Superboy (Johnathan who is now 15), the cold and lethal Last Son of Krypton, and the emotionless, cybernetic Cyborg Superman. As Metropolis and the global community struggle to figure out which of these figures, if any, is the true heir to Kal-El’s legacy, Lois Lane and the remaining members of the Justice League investigate their origins. It soon becomes clear that not all of these newcomers have noble intentions. The Cyborg Superman eventually reveals a darker agenda, forming a sinister alliance with the villainous Darkseid to transform Earth into a new staging ground for Apokolips. While the world teeters on the brink of total subjugation, the real Superman, who had been healing in a Kryptonian regeneration matrix, finally awakens. Although he is not yet at his full power and wears a black recovery suit, he returns to the fray to unite the true heroes. Together, they must dismantle a massive planet-altering engine and defeat the robotic pretender before Earth is permanently reshaped in Darkseid's image. The story culminates in a high-stakes battle that tests the resolve of the new heroes and proves that the spirit of Superman is defined by his character rather than just his abilities. By reclaiming his place as the world’s protector, the Man of Steel restores hope to a society that had nearly surrendered to despair, proving that while legends can fall, they rarely stay down for long.
