Fan Casting Cleric in Superman 3

A hundreds of thousands of years old missionary whose travels once brought him to Krypton where his peaceful message threatened the ways of the Kryptonian Science Council. Most of the Cleric's Kryptonian followers died in an escape attempt from the planet, causing the Cleric to go into exile. He finds new purpose when he hears of the Superman on Warworld, and reconnects with his past, and although he passes away during the battle over Warworld, he does so peacefully, for his mistakes did not kill the Kryptonian race, and his teachings will not die with him, as he relinquishes them to Cellkeeper 385 to become the new Cleric.
