Fan Casting Director. Cary Lumet in Superhuman (2002-2012)

As the head of the ERA’s investigation into Jacob, Lumet is skeptical of extrahuman threats but isn’t blinded by fear like his superiors. He sees Jacob as less of a danger than what’s inside him. Initially a serious threat due to his counterterrorism experience, he eventually becomes an uneasy ally. Unlike Katherine Hitchcock or Damon Ravinger, Lumet strategizes and adapts. Sharp-witted and world-weary, he distrusts the government despite working for it. Not a villain or a hero, he operates in a gray area of law and morality, questioning the ERA’s true goals and the forces they may not control.
