(First appeared in Marvelman #25 in 1954 and was created by Mick Anglo.) Michael Moran was a freelance reporter who encountered an astrophysicist who gave him the power to transform into Marvelman (also known as Miracleman) by saying "kimota", which was almost "atomic" spelled backwards.
