(First appeared in Detective Comics #27 in 1939 and was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger). Bruce Wayne's parents were gunned down in front of him at an early age. This inspired him to train his whole life to be able to take down crime. Using his vast wealth, he studied criminology and numerous martial arts, becoming the vigilante Batman.
