Synopsis

A powerful force, led by the new enemy Master Hand, has gone from universe to universe looking for worthy warriors and see which one will come on top and be his second in command. He has found at least one in every single universe. But he had to coerce them by capturing their friends, families or allies. Mario and Sonic have to rescue Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach because if they didn't choose to do it by Master Hand's orders, he would destroy their worlds. Unlikely friendships forge beginning with fighting to start with. But together, they will destroy Master Hand and save the multiverse.

Description of Sonic the Hedgehog (Main Character / Fighter #2):

Sonic goes on a solo journey from Earth to save Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. Eventually, he will meet Mario, think he's Eggman. (Seriously. Human with a mustache and red clothes.) Until they find common ground now they have the same goal: saving their friends AND their worlds. Sonic and Mario grow a bond with each other, and they are now both born leaders of the Fellowship of Smash.
