Characters from Nintendo’s greatest franchises meet for the first time on the silver screen. Mario and Luigi along with their friends Donkey Kong and Yoshi find themselves in a world where other characters seem to reside amongst them including Link, Samus,Fox McCloud,Captain Falcon,Ness Pikachu and Jigglypuff. They all realize that this world is ruled by a being called Master Hand and they must stop him if they want to return to their homeworlds.
