Bowser had found more of the leaked Master Hand energy and decided to revive Ridley with it. Hopefully, Ridley will be on his side again. And he was! Ridley has now become Bowser's right hand dragon in his conquest of the Smash Fighters' worlds. Out of all the villains joining Bowser's cause, Ridley is the most loyal and the only one Bowser trusts. Upon revival, he was given new cybernetic armor, making him harder to beat.
