Marth came from the Fire Emblem world. He had seen Ridley wandering through his world when he stumbled upon the portal Ridley took. Marth ventured his way through strange lands as he heads for our team. Seeing Ridley and Mewtwo attacking them, he came to their rescue, fending off against Ridley. But when he got outmatched by the dragon, Samus and Link came in and returned the favor. Marth accepted the hand of Link when he got up from the battle, and has now joined the Smash Fighters as an equal (and sparring partner) to Link.
