Mario thought Bowser was long gone, and that the Mushroom Kingdom was at peace. But knowing he has come back stronger and with more allies, he decides to reunite the Smash Fighters, asking Tails to have the device they use to travel between worlds to warn everyone they could find. Mario is glad to have the team back together, especially his brother becoming a new Smash Fighter. Along the way, Mario and his team would be overpowered and outmatched by Bowser's team. But soon, more fighters will stumble upon their journey, and join the fight.
