An Underworld Production
During the late 80s an Italian American plumber from Brooklyn named Mario Mario gets hired to fix some pipes for an old man. While fixing them he finds one oversized green pipe that while he's fixing drags him into it. After coming out the other side Mario realizes that he's been brought to a different world. After looking around for a bit Mario is attacked by little ninjas called Shy Guys. Mario tries to run away but is captured. While being interrogated by one of the Shy Guys a short man with a weirdly shaped head busts through the door and saves Mario. Once out of there the man whose name is Toad tells Mario that the green pipe chose him and that he will save their princess from the evil warlord Bowser. Toad brings Mario to the castle and tells him that they are in what's called the Mushroom Kingdom and that their princess was captured three weeks ago and is now being forced to marry Bowser. After a long training montage on a platform similar to the Mario video game they head to fight Bowser. Mario fights long and hard and saves the Princess whose name is Peach. The movie ends with Mario going back to Brooklyn after wishing everyone fair well and when he gets back, he tells his brother Luigi all about it.
