It’s been a year since the Mario Bros have joined the Mushroom Kingdom. To celebrate, Peach and the Toads are throwing them a party. The party however is interrupted by Bowser Jr & the Koopalings who rescue Bowser and kidnap Peach (who Bowser Jr refers to as Mama). It’s up to the Mario Bros, Toad and their new pal Yoshi to save her. During the movie we also get introduced to Wario & Waluigi who try and take advantage of a Mario-less Mushroom Kingdom to steal as much treasure as they can.
