Mario Mario and his brother, Luigi Mario, are just your average blue-collar mid-20s Italian Americans living the life in Brooklyn. However, after stumbling upon a mysterious pipe, they are taken to a fantastic place known as the Mushroom Kingdom. Here, they meet the beautiful Princess Peach, who tells them that Bowser, the king of the Dark Lands, has stolen the Star Rod and plans to use it to take control of the Kingdom. After Bowser kidnaps her, the brothers embark on an epic quest to save the Mushroom Kingdom and restore the Star Rod before it's too late.
