He is captured by Dr. Doom who works with Loki to steal the Tesseract and recruit a large number of super villains after breaking them out of the Raft to steal cosmic objects from the surfer alien’s board and materials for a weapon called the Doom Ray to destroy an incoming threat from space, and destroy all those who resist them.
