Galactus, the devourer of worlds & the Silver Surfer's former master whom he was trying to warn about, has arrived to eat Earth. Loki, having manipulated Dr. Doom & the villains, uses the Doom Ray to mind control Galactus and use him to consume Earth & Asgard. Left with no other choice, the super heroes & super villains must form an uneasy alliance to save two worlds from Galactus' hunger and his heralds. Unknown to the heroes, Doom has a secret plan that will not only end badly for the heroes, but for the entire universe as well.
