The Silver Surfer has arrived on Earth to warn its mightiest heroes of an incoming threat. Before he could warn them, he is captured by Dr. Doom who works with Loki to steal the Tesseract and recruit a large number of super villains after breaking them out of the Raft to steal cosmic objects from the surfer alien’s board and materials for a weapon called the Doom Ray to destroy the incoming threat the Surfer was about to warn about, and destroy all those who resist them. Nick Fury calls upon various superheroes including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Fantastic Four, the Defenders, the X-Men, & others to stop the villains and save the planet.
