After the events of Batman: Under The Red Hood, Jason Todd aka Red Hood joins Amanda Waller's Task Force X, a US goverment sponsored off-the-books strike team that uses supervillains as expendable soldiers for impossible missions, Jason along with Harley Quinn, Firefly, Wild Dog, Pebbles, Yonder Man, Silver Banshee, Plastique and Meow Meow have the most dangerous mission of all: kill the Joker and his newfound allies "Cypher Gang", a russian criminal organization leadered by the sociopathic "Yaroslav Vasiliev" who terrorizes, steals, murder, kidnap and blackmail people to do whatever they want, now they have come to America with the Joker's help to sell high-tech weapons to other criminals. But what will happen when the Joker seeks control of the Suicide Squad?
